Inspiration

Every piece begins as a painting. This is where the paintings live.

The first collection

It is being painted now. The canvases arrived in August and the work runs until the collection is finished — not until a date in a calendar says it should be.

The first character is GOLD MOUTH.

What this page becomes

When the collection is done, this page holds the work in full: every canvas, photographed as it dried, and the story that runs through them. Underneath, the garments that came out of them — each one naming the painting it descends from.

That link is the whole point. A garment you cannot trace back to a specific work is a garment we did not make.

The originals

The canvases themselves are not sold here. They go to galleries and to collectors. What ships with a Drop piece is a printed plate of the work it came from — named, dated, and never sold separately.

The list hears first, and it hears once. How no véx is built.
